Keeping Families Informed
At ABC of Learning and Growing, we understand how important reliable childcare is to your family's daily schedule. We are committed to giving you as much advance notice as possible for all planned closings, and to communicating quickly and clearly whenever an unexpected closure is necessary.
How We Notify Families
All school closing announcements are sent directly to families through the Procare app. Please ensure your notifications are enabled so you never miss an important update. For emergency closures, we will also contact families by phone.

Our school observes the following holidays each year. Dates may vary slightly year to year — families will be notified in advance through the Procare app.
Emergency Closures
In the event of severe weather, a public health concern, or another emergency, ABC of Learning and Growing may close with little or no advance notice. The safety of our children and staff is always our first priority. We follow guidance from Broward County Public Schools and local emergency management authorities when making these decisions.
- Families will be notified as early as possible via Procare and phone.
- We follow Broward County emergency and weather advisories.
- Children already in our care during an unexpected closure will remain safe with staff until a parent or authorized guardian arrives.
